Professional rooms available in the centre of Newcastle for mental health clinicians and allied entrepreneurs driving social change.

‘The Base’ is an innovative, integrated health service and community that seeks to build strong collaborative networks to revolutionise health care and help communities connect and thrive. Our culture is driven by compassion and the belief that mental health is everyone’s business – and that everyone can contribute to positive change.

To complement our team of psychology, social work, mental health nursing, psychiatry, yoga practitioners and art therapists, we are seeking compassionate, motivated team players. We are building a multi-disciplinary team and community and who have ideas and energy to innovate and create. We look to expand our clinical team with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dieticians, GPs, paediatricians, social workers, family therapists and psychiatrists – with the ambition to help provide optimal care, education and capacity building services in our community.

We also invite those businesses looking for flexible, inspiring workplaces who believe that their co-location would add value to the cause.

Our Not-For-Profit arm, the Base Community, is embedded in the values above. The Base Community aims to build partnerships locally and beyond to project individual and collective empowerment and social and emotional growth.

At the Base you will be able to exert your expertise in an environment like no other, with a dedicated team of like-minded professionals who value connection, belonging and contribution to social change.

The Base is close to public transport and has first class facilities in a newly refurbished building that holds historical significance in the heart of Newcastle.

Our offices, hot-desk rooms and larger group spaces vary in size and all have natural light. We provide flexible lease terms from hourly to longer term arrangements. You will be provided with administrative services and access to all amenities including high speed internet, telehealth services, outdoor and relaxation spaces. You can choose to become a member which will allow membership-rates for room and larger space rental.
