If you are living with anxiety, depression, or other issues that are impacting on your mental health and wellbeing then our psychological services can help. We understand that symptoms can be very distressing and we can assist with strategies to help reduce the distress and set you on your path to recovery.

Sessions are an hour long, usually one to one although sometimes a family member may attend all or part of a session. We have comfortable rooms here at The Base as well as the option of telehealth if getting out is difficult. We also offer walk and talk appointments for those who prefer to get out and about.

We believe every individual has a unique story so the approach your psychologist will take will be tailored to your needs. Potential approaches include Cognitive behaviour therapy, Dialectical behaviour therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy,  Brief-Solution Focussed Therapy

The full fee for a session is $180

MEDICARE REBATES AVAILABLE

With a mental health care plan from your GP you can access 10 appointments over 12 months which attract a Medicare rebate of $87 after the full amount has been paid.
